Frustrating!!!!

Ok so what's annoying me at the moment is that on the keyboard which i am using to type this the RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR key doesn't work properly, i have to basically smash it to get it to work, so if you see at all in this post an R missing you now know why, but it is a little annoying to say the least, i have to type up study notes for my Visual Communications (VIS101) exam that i have to do on monday and almost all of the R's are missing.
Now i have to go back through and check and double check to make sure that they are all there just so that i'm not going through it later and go 'what's that random word... Let's cross that out'

Can't really have that happening can i?
So it's making my work take even longer when i would have had it all done by now in all possibility.

Anyway, that's my ranting and raving or the next hour o so out of the way!!

Animation Update

So, i've been a little slack lately, i went to sydney on the weekend for a family thing and didn't really get much reading of the book done - like i said, i've been slack.... but also since coming back i've tried to get all my other assessments done because this leaves me a few FULL days to be in the labs and work on my animation, rather than tying to slot animation in between other assignments....
So far i have finished my VPA class and have completed the nessesary requirements for MPI (That was finished this moning) all i have left is a VIS exam but for that i'll just do like 2 hous of studying every night or so and then the rest of my time goes into working on my animation.
So an update on my animation..... A few of my friends have booked out the audio suites in TV land and i will be going with them to get some sound to go with my animation this afternoon, also i have filmed a couple of my friends doing the actions of what my characters will be doing, cause i didn't have the movements quite right, now i can impove them through real life.....
I have also been practicing the puppet tool in after effects and the bones tool in flash, an lets just say that for the compute illiterate like me it's difficult to say the least. :/
And yeah that's about all i have for you now..... Oh i will be uploading the vids of the actions some time this arvo and then i'll put the sound up onmy page (if that's even possible cause i really don't know if i can do that, but i will try)

Assessment3 - LAST POST!! (That I HAVE to do)

So I kinda did the bare minimum to this site for my first blogger, so now I have decided that I will try heaps hard and do more than is asked, cause before I kinda did what I was told and nothing else ... call it lazy but I also left it all thill the night before :/
A pretty bad habit to get into when your in university..... But I suppose that I always work better, or at least faster under pressure, I'm sure that I could have gotten a better mark than I did if I had tried but, that's what this time is for I suppose...... To improve on what you/ or I more importantly did wrong before.

I am actually hoping that I WILL get a good mark for this one cause I actually TRIED rather than sat around watching movies and procrastinating thill I couldn't afford to any more......

This semester has been pretty good though, cause even though I hate on computer AND each of the sites that we are FORCED to learn and update every week I have actually learned a lot from Matt.... He's a swell guy LOL (Just for you Matt Barron)

Well, I have to talk about all the things that we have done for this subject so far this year…. Just one semester really, so there won’t be much, mostly cause I can’t be bothered to type much……

Ok Dudes and Dudettes, my blogger account is the one you are on now, this was the first thing that we created in MPI104 – Multimedia for people that don’t know – soooo, there have been a few changes since the beginning of the year, I have spruced it up you could say, there is heaps of colour, an awesome background and most importantly POSTS and YOUTUBE CLIPS!!!!!!

These are the things that make my blogger awesome, the side bars and other things have been fixed and added to make this page as AWESOME as it is right now…. That is, when I post this particular post :D
Gadgets are really the big difference to my page now…. Basically, I know what they are sooooo that’s good :D

Ok so just like my blogger, my Flickr was basically the bare minimum for the first assignment, I posted a couple of photos of my friend from like my graduation (year12) and uni parties and stuff….. Now I have like random stuff that I have found on the Internet and stuff, cause they are just awesome. The photos have all been tagged too… But really my favourite is of the Cathedral, cause I took that one when I was in Sydney, and I really think that it’s awesome… not that I’m religious or anything.

Seriously though, it’s not as though you can really do much to Flickr really , I mean there isn’t really much you can customise…… ☹

All you can really do for this is add a few links and group them together, I really don’t see the point of this Delicious account, cause basically I never use this on….. Scratch that, I HAVE NEVER USED THIS FOR ANYTHING USEFUL!!! And that’s about al I have to say on that.

Update of my LIFFFFFE>>>>

Alright, so here's a quick update of what i have been doing lately, tonight myself and my four friends; Shandelle, Becky, Samantha and Tim.... went on a Coles SUGAR run!!!! WHOOOO. So needless to say i am a bit high on sugar at the moment!!!

Also i managed to pass my VIS101 Essay... it was a mid pass, but still awesomeeeeeeeee yay, i also passed my speech so ill never have to do Visual Communication EVER AGAIN!!!! SHWWWWEEEEEEET!!!!!!

Oh yeah, well i'm pulling an all-nighter tonight with said friends^^^^ and i am so high on sugar that it actually feels like i'm drunk, also i keep watching the Charlie The Unicorn TV shows and the ULTIMATE dog tease, it just gets funnier each time you watch it even though you already know what's happening... hehehe

Now Tim is on this thing on youtube titled THE YOGSCAST, it's pretty funny version of stop motion animation of Star Wars stuff, however it has funny comentary over the top, which makes it hilarious......

Animator Movie Night - The Hangover2

Ok so last night..... well it's 12:56 soooooo, the night before, heaps of the animators went to the local cinemas - That is the Forum 6 Cinema - and we saw....... THE HANGOVER2, and i thought that this was a heaps good movie, but that may be cause i have never actually seen the first one :/ even though all my friends told me to see that one first.... Buuuuut i really didn't want to cause i don't really like the comedy genera - i LOVE horror and thriller though, that's awesome though.....

It was pretty cool, and funny, i really liked the funny bald dude ALLAN "are we still friends in great britain?"

RSS - Week 11

Well, it wasn't so bad learning to do the RSS feeds this week, they were a little difficult to learn at first, but once you get the idea, they are alright.
I have learned heaps in todays class, and Matt Baron is a pretty good teacher because i did get lost quite a few times, and he did have to repeat heaps of stuff.... But i'm happy to say that i did get it in the end, which was good, cause that's a part of my next assessment, that is due next week.
Over all the lesson was really good.

Visiting

So here's what i've got planned for this friday through to Sunday, i'm going to go to class on Friday and then later i'm going to catch a 7HOUR bus home.... That is to Sydney then i have my mother's birthday and my Aunt's 50th Birthday party, so this basically means that i will be spending the whole weekend living with my parents and other family members unhappy looks and that means....

I will be having a 'fabulous' weekend, if you didn't realise then i'm being sarcastic..... Also i have three assessments and an exam next week, so it couldn't come at a WORSE time.

Oh well, i guess i'll get to see a whole bunch of my family that i haven't seen in like forever and that will a plus, and i guess there will be free food, so that will be awesome and then i get to have another 7HOUR!!!! bus trip BACK to Wagga.... all for a grand total of 1 and a half days of being home.... :(

Hey everyone,

Well it's been a while sinc i have actually done a post about something that is recent, so i'm going to give you an update on what i (and the rest of my class) have had to do for multimedia.....

When we were first told that we were to design our own website i almost had a heart attack.... i mean, what would i write about, and who would care, but then a i got into the assignment, all the html stuff it all started to make sence. Which is amazing since i don't ever like anything that is to do with technology,
but i really had fun doing this assignment.

My website isn't very special there is a facts and superstitions page that i wquite liked, mostly cause it was fun to find out all of these useless facts and things that people actually believed in - Oh well, let live i say - My pages are mostly black, but the writings white so it gives the pages a cool contrast, and as well as that, i changed some of the titiles to pastel colours in order to spruce it up.
All in all, i think that i did a fabulous job and i would like to say thank you to Aaron Peirce and Matt Barron for their constant attempts to rid me of my inability to work computers like a human being

HTML - Week 6

Hey everyone, so this is a catch up to what i have been doing in class.....
So what we were supposed to do was do a post every week, unfortunately Facebook is one of the biggest procrastination sites out there, and needless to say i spent the entire lesson talkig to my friends back home in Sydney :/
Probably not a good thing seeing as this is homework and now it's all stacked up to too much and basically i'm overloading.....
These next few posts are just catch up one soooooo, ignore them if you don't want to be bored out of your skull.

Well as we all know, i REALLY HATE computers so needless to say i FAILED at doing the HTML stuff. I mean that i was seriously worse than usual. We are doing the html in order to create our own websites, the program that we used was iweb, wich was pretty easy (even for computer illiterate people like me)
This can only be done on the Mac's so that means that i will be spending heaps of time in the mac labs, cause i have a PC.

iweb is basically an easier version/ or at least a Mac version of Dreamweaver, it's much easier to understand.

Straight into School Work

Ok so holidays are quite obviously over given the amount of assessments that i have been bombarded with..... Actually there aren't that many BUT they are hard to do so they each take a while.
The worst one that i've got since i got back is the VIS101 or Visual Communication essay, now this one is a real pain as you have to be extremely thorough in your research and also careful in your layout..... My main problem is that essay for me are really difficult and even with help from other students, teachers and student services i still manage to scrape a pass, my other problem is that i have it due TODAY and i only started it yesterday.. :(
So basically i am not going to do very well, which SUCKS!! But it is my fault for leaving it to the last minute *sigh. I have to accept the inevitable, but not before i ask a really good friend of mine - who by the way is an awesome essay writer - to look over my essay.

This is my question, see if YOU can make your own essay out of it; 
'Successful persuasion in the mass media often depends on appropriating to one's own use the icons of one's culture.'  Discuss this statement, either in reference to advertising or more broadly towards an aspect of mass culture. Address the question through the characteristics of a consumer society. Compare and contrast at least two significant bodies of work. What role have symbol and metaphor played? Expand.

The next assignment that will be due is ALSO VIS101, but it is and "informal" 'talk' as my lecturer likes to say, we choose a subject, mine is; Political and religious signs: Towards Global Culture. Then we have to compile a short essay type response and read it in front of the class.... Sounds easy right, WRONG, i absolutely hate talking in front of people so that one is going to be even more fun than the other VIS101 essay *Heavy Sarcasm*

After that there is my MPI104 and my VFX101 assignments due, better known as multimedia and animation, but they won't be due until somewhere around June i think.

iiiiiimmmm Baaaaack!!

Ok so i'm back after the holidays......
Actually i came back a few days ago, but any way, into another bunch of assessments we go, these include assessments for Animation, Visual Communication (and FML this one has TWO) - essays can go die in a hole - I'm getting one for Photography on thursday.... or later today, whatever, and i'm sure that our Multimedia teacher Matt is going to be giving us another assessment any day now....

*Sigh* And i thought high school sucked.

Uni's not THAT bad though, i'm just complaining cause i can, anyway the people are nice and they love to help you out when you need it so it's all good and the teachers really know what they're talking about so that's awesome.

I don't think people actually look at my blog but it's a good way to keep track of everything, you know, so...

Holidays ROCK!!!

Hey, so it's the first non-contact day for university today, so only ONE MORE LECTURE then it's time to relax for a couple of days before getting back into school work......

I'm so excited to be going home and seeing my family, it's been over two months since i've seen them... :( But i'm also heaps excited to just be able to kick back for a bit and take a breather, uni is so much harder than i thought it would be, but in the end it will all be worth it.... I hope :)
So some exciting news, well exciting for me, during this holidays i get to climb the Harbor Bridge in Sydney... YAY.... With my sister, cousin and my aunty, this is going to be an amazing holiday.

It will also be my sisters 16th birthday, so here's a shout out to Emma, love you baby sis, and i can't wait to see you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

So here's to everyone, have a happy holidays!

Assessment 1

Well, it looks like we've reached the end of our assessment 1 for MPI104 and i can't say that im not relieved cause i really am, COMPUTERS SUCK!!!!
I don't like them and the feelings mutual, but MPI has taught me a few things that i would never have known or even attempted to to EVER!!!
Im Serious!!
But it's all good really, i find that the class is actually quite fun;

What we've done in MPI104 so far;

Well there are a few things that we've done, like create a Gmail account, and this blogspot account -

Then there was the Flickr account, i have to admit though, i like using Flickr even though i don't use it very often -

After that there was the Delicious account, though i do really hate this one, it always takes forever to open and then often shits itself halfway through doing something >P Really, Really HATE IT!!!

This whole subject isn't very hard, it's just a bit time consuming and you have to worry about keeping the posts regular, thats the most annoying part i reckon, cause if you forget for a couple of days then you have to do catchup posts, and they're a BITCH to do, can't wait till i get a desktop computer, will be so much better them my shoddy laptop, will make keeping the posts done regularly easy.

Anyway this class is pretty cool, Matt is a good teacher and the other people in my class are heaps nice and willing to help, BTW... thanks Matt for constantly helping me when my computer wouldn't let me log into ANY ACCOUNT!!!!!
HOWEVER, i'm still glad that this assignment is over even though it means that we are getting closer to when we get the next assignment. *sigh* i guess it never really ends when your in uni.......
